Is there any relation between the readiness of change for Steeltown information technology with the council?
What is the relationship between steeltown city council and steeltown information technology? Are they the same company?
1 The people in Steeltown Information Technology had previously worked for the council. This means for example, that there was no need for marketing (all services were provided to the council) nor any need to make profits. They are now in the private sector and have a very different relationship with their major user of their services – the council.
2 The council’s IT has been privatised, renamed Steeltown Information Technology and become part of EA group.
