Hey Friends, I’m waiting for PM and Tx uk, both didn’t go too well, it seems I can’t make it to tmrw, my heart will soon leave my chest and fall inside my intestines, it wasn’t like this when I sat AA and FM together and I passed the two then, now I’m praying to pass Tax only cuz I really hate it, PM Isnt that difficult but I think I won’t pass cuz I made a big mistake in the exam which I only realised after the exam, Tax is my nightmare and it’s my second attempt, I’ve taken almost half a bottle of baileys but I’m not drunk, I dunno what I can do to sleep till tmrw midnight, when I bend down it’s like the heart is falling, I support my chest with my hand, never been this tensed. My friend take it easy, you are not alone and it is not the end of the world, people face much more worst situation then you are in, imagine a person waiting for his cancer result which will decide if he will live or die? you are not in that position? just relax and get yourself prepared for worst and hope for best. Good Luck!
January 11, 2020 at 2:10 pm #557794I think John Moffat has time and again asked us to not talk about e business on this forum. Please respect their wishes. It’s not nice to keep talking about it when they have asked us to avoid it.
January 11, 2020 at 2:17 pm #557795@boho yes it’s down let’s not mention about it anymore goodluck for your result!!
January 11, 2020 at 2:22 pm #557796Looks like it is end of all the theories discussion on OT, but as we are guests and all the admins here are host, lets respect their wish.

January 11, 2020 at 6:21 pm #557819well less than 30 hours to go …
January 11, 2020 at 7:32 pm #557821Other than the talk about the theories, the chat is quiet which to me is boring! I like coming on here in the lead up to results to read comments as it helps calm my nerves but without the forbidden topic, it’s just silence.
So i’ll start a game for anyone else like me and interested.Copy below and post what the journey was like for you:
1. Most challenging level 2 paper – F5 PM
2. Most challenging level 3 paper – P4 AFM
3. Least challenging paper level 2 – F9 FM
4. Least challenging paper level 3 – P7 AAA
5. Resit papers – P1 & P4January 11, 2020 at 7:43 pm #557822I had my last paper AAA-INT on Dec 2019 and this is my 5th attempt. I had resit for more than 20 times for different papers and also got the borderline pass for at least 3 times. It was a disheartening journey and I wish that i pass this paper because i felt that Im so worn out for ACCA already 🙁
January 11, 2020 at 7:53 pm #557823Nice challenge, I like it!
My journey with ACCA as follows:
Most challenging papers (F and P levels): F9 FM, SBL (currently waiting for SBL result)
Least challenging papers (F and P levels): F6 Taxation, P5 APM
No resits (so far), fingers crossed for tomorrow.
January 11, 2020 at 7:58 pm #557824@seeyun I really hope you get through tomorrow. If God forbids you need help with exam technique for AAA I will definitely help. I placed 13 worldwide on my sitting.
@ritaalbu well done! It’s a long hard journey but we have grit and indomitable will and we will get through.
@naz2 Jibri you are a great motivator on here.January 11, 2020 at 8:04 pm #557825I have attempted AAA 3 times but was not able to succeed. Hopefully I succeed at my 4th attempt and become an ACCA affiliate. It has been a very long journey attempting ACCA exams and hope it ends this time in a positive manner.
January 11, 2020 at 8:07 pm #557827I never sat an F paper as I have exemptions from an accounting degree
Not much of an advantage But it took me a while to understand and answer questions the way ACCA wantFor P papers easiest exam was P2
Highest result to date is SBL
Hardest paper has been AAA. Third time repeating this December sittingI really commend people who resist countless times. If I don’t get AAA tomorrow switching to ATX instead
I think I prefer more technical papers. APM and AAA have a lot of subjectivity and the exam appear to catch people out at times and contains hidden meanings and tricks
January 11, 2020 at 8:33 pm #557828I agree about loving this chat for a distraction and how it’s gone very quiet.
I struggled with F7. Really didn’t enjoy it.
Failed F7 and F8 both once. ( trying to play catch up. Which I managed to do sep 2018Last December I was due to sit SBL. Studying from home I struggled to get my teeth into this , so decided to “switch” to AFM as I had just sat and passed FM and enjoyed it ……. I therefore attempted to sit both with the awful result of getting 43 in both papers.
Re-sat both in March. Passed SBL, but failed AFM again.
Sat AFM for the third time in June and passed ( only with 52%) I cried with relief. My worst paper by far. I enjoyed the topics. But the exam put a hatred in me for this I can’t explain.I’ve attempted SBR and ATX this time. I really enjoyed studying towards tax and I really hope I’ve done enough. SBR, not so much. Another I struggle to get my teeth into studying from home. And this is the one I am most worried about tomorrow. I ad actually almost prefer it if i pass this and fail ATX as I know in my heart I would smash this out of the park in March ( and I can’t say the same about SBR)
January 11, 2020 at 9:02 pm #5578301. Most challenging level 2 paper – F9 FM
2. Most challenging level 3 paper – P2 SBR
3. Least challenging paper level 2 – F8 AA
4. Least challenging paper level 3 – P5 APM
5. Resit papers – F5 & F9Still have nightmares about SBR 6 months after sitting it!
Fingers crossed for a pass on AAA tomorrow and then I’m done and my kids get their mum back!January 11, 2020 at 9:32 pm #557833Good evening everyone!
Started ACCA in 2016 and hope I will be done tomorrow!!!
1. Most challenging level 2 paper – Tax
2. Most challenging level 3 paper – AFM- waiting for tomorrow to get my result
3. Least challenging paper level 2 – Audit
4. Least challenging paper level 3 – P7 AAA
5. Resit papers – P2 – my first month of pregnancy
P3- AFM in June- that was 10days before my due date- tried but failed…It has been a long journey and it was challenging. specially last year during pregnancy and after… baby takes so much energy.
So I really hope I have passed my last exam and can enjoy my entire time with my baby for another 6m before going back to work.Good luck for tomorrow!!!
January 11, 2020 at 9:35 pm #557835Grayson2.0, I can’t answer your comment as I’ve just recently joined ACCA on Applied Skills level after completely AAT.
I sat my first two exams in December, Corporate Law and Financial Reporting. I passed Corp Law with 64% (should have done better really) not too confident with FR as I rushed section C and really don’t know if I’ve done enough to land 50 marks, I can see myself failing but we’ll see. Tomorrow will be hard, especially since work paid for my exam/course and will be disappointed if I tell them I’ve failed, I’m dreading Monday.
January 11, 2020 at 9:57 pm #5578361. Most challenging level 2 paper – F5 PM
2. Most challenging level 3 paper – P6 ATX
3. Least challenging paper level 2 – F8 AA
4. Least challenging paper level 3 – SBL AND P7 AAA
5. Resit papers – F5,9 P6Really hoping to pass p6 tmrw. This paper has made life difficult for me. From depression to panic attacks. Can’t do this anymore
January 11, 2020 at 11:44 pm #557840The best of luck to all of you awaiting your results
Meanwhile, why not put a bit of energy into voting for OpenTuition in the PQ Magazine awards – that’s a good positive way of showing us that you appreciate our efforts in trying to get you through your ACCA journey
January 12, 2020 at 12:57 am #55784322 hours to go ~ vote for OT !
January 12, 2020 at 2:36 am #557844Copy below and post what the journey was like for you:

2. Most challenging level 3 paper – P4 AFM
3. Least challenging paper level 2 – F9 FM
4. Least challenging paper level 3 – ATX & SBL

January 12, 2020 at 3:12 am #557847@jamesborn5 we had similar likeness towards papers only I didn’t do ATX as an option and I got exempted from F8.
When I wrote P2 ie SBR I was certain I had failed but I managed a 53 so you never know with ACCA. Waiting on the dreadful AFM to quietly peace out and move on with my life.January 12, 2020 at 3:24 am #557848@nieffee & Donna and ferjanna and maman & this rest of those who have been through a lot, your stories are a real inspiration for the new folks like George. So much happened during the ACCA journey, it’s amazing how we pulled through. Those with kids you all are true heroes. I can’t even imagine what it’s like juggling acca plus kids, work and other commitments. I feel like instead of ACCA posting tips from prize winners they should ask newly qualified to share their stories because it’s a huge huge sacrifice and commitment on so many behalf. That feeling of wanting to give up but still going at it. The tears, the joy, the resits, scraping up the pennies for payments, the unexpected pass, the depression, the anxiety, the insomnia and every other thing. ACCA students are incredible. Whatever the results know that you are amazing and don’t ever give up on your dreams!
Good luck everyone.January 12, 2020 at 3:56 am #557850For me it was
1. Most challenging level 2 paper – F5 PM
2. Most challenging level 3 paper – SBL
3. Least challenging paper level 2 – F7 FR
4. Least challenging paper level 3 – P4 AFM
5. Resit papers – SBL ( MY ACCA JOURNEY WAS TOO SMOOTH UNTIL MY LAST PAPER WHICH WAS SBL, CLEARED ALL PAPERS IN FIRST ATTEMPT BUT IT WAS MY THIRD ATTEMPT FOR SBL AND NOW HOPING FOR PASS ON MONDAY…..FINGERS CROSSED)January 12, 2020 at 4:11 am #557851@champ SBL was more on exam technique and business sense .. Aim for the free 20 professional marks
