Share your thoughts on which paper(s) have you attempted, how did they go and what result you are expecting.
The ACCA is monitoring this thread and it must NOT be used for discussing suggestions as to how to try and obtain your exam results in advance.

January 10, 2020 at 4:38 pm #557686I’ve been really busy with work this week which has been a great distraction.
Currently i am hoping for 1 pass and am expecting 1 fail…….so i am not as nervous/stressed as i usually am. But I expect Sunday will be a very long stomach churning kind of day
January 10, 2020 at 4:54 pm #557687Yep the stress is bad. Annoying that the results used to come on Friday nights which I think we would all agree was much better – didn’t linger over you all weekend, and didn’t ruin the start of your next week if bad news arrives!
January 10, 2020 at 6:13 pm #557692Can’t go gym, out chilling with friend as a bit under weather atm, therefore it would be a Netflix weekend, any recommendation on horror films?
January 10, 2020 at 6:25 pm #557693Don’t know of any good horror films, however you could always watch ‘The Accountant’ 😉

January 10, 2020 at 6:43 pm #557696This simply to have a chat about exam results etc even after the result published
January 10, 2020 at 9:44 pm #557706Hey guys. I am also waiting for results. FM was for me. I only started worrying this weekend as not had enough time to worry with work and usual routine. I really hope I passed as the paper was horrible and exam Centre was absolutely awful in Manchester. Wishing good luck to everyone.
Pavel2020, instead horror movie – better to have gin or a bottle of vodka – will be switched off till Monday. Guaranteed. ?January 10, 2020 at 11:18 pm #557709AnonymousInactive- Topics: 0

I wrote the dreadful wolf of Wall Street AFM- my 2nd attempt.
The paper was very very time pressured.
A lot of discussions parts came up with not enough time to think and analyze questions. Part a of question 1 threw me off.
The hedging parts were good but I may have made mistakes. Reading the risk management technical article may have helped for one of the discussion parts. I predicted multi netting & VAR as it didn’t came often. Question 2 was also examined differently with lots of discussions.
Question 3 is not a typical question but I have seen financial statements reconstruction in past papers & thought it was due to come up so it didn’t throw me off but I didn’t prep much for it so I did what I could.
I stuck to the motto “keep calm and carry on, attempt all parts”
Passing this paper would be more joyous than qualifying in itself. This paper is tough and never examined the same. There is always some curve ball. IMO, the examiner is moving away from calculations and more into discussion to examine students understanding. My advice to future students is to do the easy parts but make sure to attempt all parts. Practice past papers to learn formulas, techniques and approach and to gain speed. All the best to everyone. I hope this is it for me, I am totally burn out.January 11, 2020 at 12:13 am #557665really just want to end this chapter of my life and start my next one… did SBR Dec 2018 … last question was horrendous.. just hope for the magic 50 !!!!!

Had a little hope, but after the examiners report, im simply taking out the books this weekend. Did two papers in Dec, afm and sbl and am totally burnt out.

@nas2 … are you having positive feeling this time ? I’ve been following you for past 2 years you’re really motivating people … you really defined the quote “ winner doesn’t give up “Yes very positive! waiting for this for more then two years, mix feeling now btw, as also regret and this feeling that it should have done earlier, I could change module and pass well before!
It was like I am going through hell every three months for more then two years.

Hey Friends, I’m waiting for PM and Tx uk, both didn’t go too well, it seems I can’t make it to tmrw, my heart will soon leave my chest and fall inside my intestines, it wasn’t like this when I sat AA and FM together and I passed the two then, now I’m praying to pass Tax only cuz I really hate it, PM Isnt that difficult but I think I won’t pass cuz I made a big mistake in the exam which I only realised after the exam, Tax is my nightmare and it’s my second attempt, I’ve taken almost half a bottle of baileys but I’m not drunk, I dunno what I can do to sleep till tmrw midnight, when I bend down it’s like the heart is falling, I support my chest with my hand, never been this tensed.
