Share your thoughts on which paper(s) have you attempted, how did they go and what result you are expecting.
The ACCA is monitoring this thread and it must NOT be used for posting suggestions as to how to try and obtain your exam results in advance.
January 10, 2020 at 11:32 am #557608Goodluck everyone .. all the best fingers crossed !!!
January 10, 2020 at 11:36 am #557609I sat ATX and SBR, my last exams. After reading the examiners reports I am expecting/hoping to have passed ATX, but my hopes are not high for SBR, I am preparing myself to resit this is march. I definately struggle more with the theory based exams as opposed to the calulation dominated exams.
You never know, I may be wrong and may have passed both and qualified……roll on Sunday night!
Good luck to all waiting for results
January 10, 2020 at 11:47 am #557610I’m way too scared. Can’t afford to give any exam again. Hopefully it’s a pass for me! 🙁
January 10, 2020 at 11:51 am #557611Hi everyone. I appeared in AAA-INT, as my second PBE. The paper went well in my thought. It was quite similar to the past papers and felt like if someone had a good grip on the basics (i.e AA and SBR), and did atleast the latest past papers, could have done the paper in time. Yes there were some difficult portions but nothing out of the ordinary. I, however, gave the paper in extraordinary situations (my brothers wedding were on going and after attending his reception on the 1st, went to the city where my center was assigned and gave the paper on the 2nd), I am a bit scared but yet excited. Really want to see what limits I can surpass.
Good Luck everyone.
January 10, 2020 at 11:54 am #557612I sat my last two papers – AAA and ATX – in December. AAA could go either way but I am not holding my breath regarding ATX so I resumed my ATX revision after Christmas …
January 10, 2020 at 11:57 am #557613all the best to everyone..
January 10, 2020 at 12:06 pm #557623Last year January 1st 2019 I had 3 papers remaining. I hadn’t sat an ACCA exam for 2 years out of not being motivated enough to study and laziness, despite never failing an exam and passing everything first time by self studying around 2 months per paper and working full time in London.
My new years resolution was to pass at least one exam for that year. Well, I did SBR in March, 60 marks, then I attempted AAA in June, passed with 70. I decided to reward myself with a break and skip the September sitting as I wanted to enjoy the summer and then proceeded to pencil in AFM for December.
Here I am, it’s now 10th January 2020 and I’m waiting patiently for my AFM result on Sunday. If I pass I’d say it was a very successful year! Q3 was a nightmare so just hoping I smashed Q1 and Q2. Good luck all.
January 10, 2020 at 12:14 pm #557625Sat PM.. was a nightmare 🙁 but hopefully answered enough to pass
January 10, 2020 at 12:18 pm #557626Just read AFM Examiner’s Report from December – bloodbath incoming! Lower average scores than recent sittings. Was 50:50 before reading it… may have to get the notes out this weekend!!

It was my 10 attempt of last exam APM and I know I have passed, will not share how I know as our respected tutors here told us not to but you all know 🙂I am not proud of my self that I have done it, feel ashamed when see members here passed all exams the first time. but I am glad it is over.
You should absolutely feel proud. These exams are far from easy and at the end of the day, once qualifed, no one will know how many times you had to resit. You have stuck with this and not given up, which i think many people would have done in your position.
Don’t let this moment you’ve been waiting for and working towards for so long be dampended by any kind of Shame. You’re potentially two days away from being ACCA qualified!!! You should be getting ready to celebrate
January 10, 2020 at 12:58 pm #557636I have passed all my professional papers in the first go. But I’ve been stuck with ATX. This is my fourth and hopefully last attempt. I really need to pass this paper because I can’t afford to give it again. If I fail it will break me completely. I hope I don’t take any extreme measures ?

I think the exams are just so awful and completely twisted in a different direction each time. It took me 3 attempts to pass and I actually cried with relief when I got the results!. It’s so demotivating, especially when you miss it by merely a few marks each time

It’s so demotivating, especially when you miss it by merely a few marks each timeRight?! I failed on 49 in the first attempt. ACCA should at least be considerate in this regard before failing us from a marks margin. I mean they don’t realise the toll it takes on our mental health. Plus how demotivated it makes us.
It’s very unfair.January 10, 2020 at 1:12 pm #557640Yeah I have only struggled at the professional level, the time pressure has caused me on many occassions to make stupid mistakes, which sometimes I have realised after leaving the exam hall but cannot go back and change!
The margin fails are so hard, as it means its not down to a lack of knowlede, but more your exam technic. I self study and work full time, so I have no tutor. I have no idea to this day what has been wrong with my technic in the few exams I have failed, as I have no one to tell me, no feedback is given, so you just have to hope you can pick yourself up and pull it off the next time
January 10, 2020 at 1:29 pm #557642Where are you located?
January 10, 2020 at 1:31 pm #557643This is my 3rd attempt on AAA-INT and also my last paper. Two marginal fail in the previous sittings and was really depressed about it because all my papers were first attempt except AAA. Hopefully i will pass this time and i will be an acca affiliate. Good luck and all the best everyone.

January 10, 2020 at 2:55 pm #557644Hello guys,
It wasn’t a long time ago since i finished ACCA-In September 2019 when i received the magic 50% in AAA 2nd attempt. I just want to wish you all the best with your results and express my sympathy to you. I understand your anxiety and stress (as I was in your shoes). Congratulations to all those that will pass and become affiliates on Monday. However, those that will not make it keep going you are nearly there.
