Hi all,
Would anyone be able to help on how the goodwill calculation for Heeny?
Purchase consideration – 320
Less consideration belonging to NCI – (30% of $320) (96)
NCI fair value of 44% holding 161The holding is 80% so i am unsure how the above works.
If anyone could shed some light, it would be greatly appreciated!

I would like to know why 30% of 320 was subtracted. I dont see this happening in all past papers.
