AFMdec 2010 Q2(a): issue regarding taxrelief on issue cost of $604
Issue costs are not normally deductible for tax purposes. I think the examiner is simply following the real world treatment.
but kaplan text has included the text relief on issue cost as part of apv..........i m curious which one is appropriate.......as my mind says that it should b included in apv as its relevant for apv......please expalin

The relief isn't given in most jurisdictions the examiner choose to follow the real world practice. No further explanation necessary.
