    heeeeeeeeelp 🙂
    I understood most of Q3. a.i. but there is one point I don’t understand . . .

the plant disposal in the answer = £(500)
    I calculate (proceeds – CV) (1200 – 500) = £700 profit
this one figure disrupts the balancing figure

    🙂 😉

I don’t have the question in front of me, but I imagine that it’s a cash flow question. The figures you have quoted would be reflected as a deduction in the operating activities section of 700 and an inflow in the investing activities section of 1200.

    Does that answer it?
