Sir whether its currency swap or interest rate swap , there is no exchange of principle in both of them?

Also what is the main difference between currency swap and interest rate swap?

Currency swaps and interest rate swaps are more or less the same thing (as far as F9 is concerned) expect that currency swaps are when you want to borrow in a different currency.
