good evening
the bpp text lists separate rules if u r paying in US$:
for a dollar payment: Sell now and buy later,
where as for the normal questions we have done in ur lectures, we buy now and sell later in case of payments.
how important is this to know?
regards
It is important, and what I explain in the lectures is correct 🙂
(Whether or not the BPP text is correct, I have no idea – I would assume that it says the same as I do 🙂 )
first, thank for the quick reply.. i really appreciate it
the text has a heading that says:
Non-American wishing to pay in us$
and here it says sell/buy own currency futures
then it has a heading: Making a payment in a foreign currency
and here it says to buy/sell futures of the foreign currency
so rules change.
🙁
But it is not that the rules change. I explain in the lecture that it depends on the contract currency (the currency in which the contract size is quoted).
thank u…..last minute shakes causing confusion..:)
u will be glad on the 10th..:)
thank u thank u thank for all the questions to come till the 9th!
You are welcome 🙂
(and yes – on the 10th I will spend all day in bed 🙂 )
