Hi,
I have a question relating to the cum-div share price. When the company for example has preference shares as well as ordinary shares then if we talk about the cum-div share price, does it include the div for preference shares?
Thank you
If the preference shares are quoted cum div then the price includes the next dividend (just as with ordinary shares) 🙂
In exam questions we always assume that the share prices for both ordinary and preference shares are ex div unless told differently.
Thank you for the answer
You are welcome 🙂
