Hi,
Thank you in advance for your assistance
Imagine a large company where the departmental managers all have their own luxury offices. When discussing this my interpretation would be to discuss it as a routine/ritual, that is, it is normal for departmental mangers to receive such luxuries. Alternatively another interpretation would be to discuss it under the heading “symbols”, that is, the departmental heads working for the company have luxury offices.
My question is whether the classification is at all important. I have read answers to PESTEL questions where the examiner states that the classification is not important as they can overlap. Do you think the examiner will apply the same leniency to questions on the cultural web?
Thank you
I don’t think the classification is important. I would personally call this symbols and titles, but what’s important is to recognise that the managers are remote (and probably unpleasant!)
