Hi,
Last year I was with a non-approved ACCA employer and completed the full CPD units for 2023 (I qualified in 2022). However, in December 2023 I started working for an ACCA approved employer and I have heard we don’t need to complete the yearly CPD requirements. Due to the first 6 month being very busy with year end and settling in, I haven’t completed any CPD yet or added any info – are there steps I need to complete? Or at the end of 2024 I complete the online CPD by stating I’m with an approved employer?
Many thanks

Even if you’re now with an ACCA-approved employer, you still need to complete your CPD requirements. The transition doesn’t automatically exempt you from CPD for the year; you’ll need to log and complete your CPD activities for 2023. It’s essential to catch up on any missed CPD units promptly and ensure you meet the annual requirements. At the end of 2024, you can update your CPD records accordingly, but it’s crucial to stay compliant throughout the year.
