I haven’t received email today however a few years ago it happened that they sent me email with congratulations and saying that I passed exam. Then apology email that it was an error… The ending result was that I failed hence this is very disappointing that they make again similar mistake. Also to became Affiliate you need to have PER, Objectives and EPSM module completed and I saw some people do not have this completed so how they can be Affiliate? I would wait for results to be released on Monday. Best of luck everyone!

How were the results leaked in July 2020?Ok, actually you are right. Sorry for confusion. “The ACCA qualification trainees who have passed their exams but not yet qualified for membership are called ACCA affiliates. ACCA affiliates are those who are yet to complete ACCA’s practical experience requirements. If you are an affiliate then you must note the following regulations.”

Exactly @gleboczko affiliate is when you either have per, ethics or work experience pending but you have successfully passed all the exams… when you have everything done you become a member
I received the email with my name on it. The fact that it was addressed to me made it seem legitimate, but let’s hope for the best!

@Sherirup thanks for the confirmation. Then most likely I have not passed because everyone seems to have their name in the email.
I have just spoken to ACCA and they are saying that the email was sent in error, I don’t particularly have my hopes high.
I haven’t received the email, but I’m beginning to think (or hope more likely!) maybe it’s because I wouldn’t be an affiliate… as I’ve done ethics + PER + 36 months so passing my last exam would mean I’d be a member. Still very disheartening not to have received anything seeing as a lot of people have received it!
They should be communicating with us tho, it’s very unprofessional. If results are marked they should be released. There is nothing ethical about leaving people like this
@feroz They weren’t likely to say anything else, they aren’t exactly going to admit it if it is true but was sent in error.
Jennie what can we do, we are small minons who just have to follow orders, perks of being with a institute hey.
Best thing to do is just wait and see, hopefully everyone passes. But I must admit it is really annoying, and for those who don’t pass because they haven’t received the email is a cruel way to find out if they have failed. and for those who did receive the email and then turns out that they actually failed is even worse, but what can you do, just sit and wait and not think about it because if you eagerly wait and try finding out your results before hand, that will only drain your energy and if you do actually end up failing, it will make things worst well mentally at least.
So good luck everyone nothing we can do but just sit and wait and try not to think about it.
