I’m not a finalist student but I have received three emails concerning booking my December Exam.What could that mean?I did FR and I’m just nervous.

True ..Hi, those who are finalist and received the email from ACCA.
Do you all get the email to ask to register the upcoming Dec 2020 exam??
Or any learning institution stating how to pass exam???

Yes I m finalist, received the registration email regarding Dec sitting exam in last Tuesday.
Then received the congratulations and survey email yesterday.I received the email congratulating me yesterday, but I am pretty sure, actually 99% sure I failed my last exam. This has really confused me! Trying not to get my hopes up.
I got the December exam email and yesterday’s email. It can’t sink in, be nice if acca sent us a follow up email

Feel same, upset and angry too. I had comparatively good exam AFM, was my last paper. But seems like now i have to be ready for CBE , totally heartbroken, couldn’t do anything whole day , weekend will be longest
The article has said no email doesn’t mean a fail but it is unnerving full stop. If they upload in batches they probably became aware quite quickly
Yes Jennie I agree. I think pretty much as soon as they sent the first lot they realised so for people who did not get the email I really do not think it means you’ve failed, it just means you were further down in the list. For example I was sent the email at 2pm and had called them by half past 2 and I am sure some people were even faster than that!
@jennie1984 That’s the only bit of hope I have to cling to now because I know they do send emails and texts out in batches on results day as people get them at different times. Sometimes I’ve got them 1 minute past Midnight and other times not until quarter past.
And congratulations to everyone who has received the email! I know from experience how hard it is to get there.
I sent another message and it… disappeared. Maybe I had written that for too long…
What I can say is that I didn’t receive the email so I don’t hold out any hope for becoming an affiliate. I was almost 100% sure I failed AFM, though I was relatively happy with APM.
Judging by the tone of the official reply from ACCA, there is very little chance for those who didn’t receive the email, so I won’t count on it (all the best to others though!).
This happened while ago with Indian CA’s where the results were announced and revised again failing thousands of students back in 2018. Watching same again with professional Institute being careless.

I m from Singapore. Received at Singapore time 9pm sharp.Even I received the congratulations email ,but actually no surprised with this unprofessional act from ACCA.
As I experienced one incident that the staff telling me I am not going to pay the exemption but end up billing me at full after I submitted my degree documents. After checking with the local authority, then realized that I was entitled to a discounted rate instead. Stories ended with a revised bill. If I didn’t check with them, I would blindly pay extra hundreds pound .
