Dear Sir/ Madam,
Is Chapter 1 – Costing considered part of F5 examination syllabus? Will it be important/possible tested in the exam?
Please advise.
Thank you so much.
July 6, 2014 at 8:20 am #178234Chapter 1?? Do you mean Chapter 1 of our Course Notes? Whether you mean our Course Notes or someone else’s book for Paper F5, if it is there then it must be part of the syllabus!!!
Costing is a terribly important part of the F5 syllabus – it is one complete section of the syllabus.
Basic costing is assumed knowledge from Paper F2. What is asked in F5 is advanced costing technique (Activity based costing; target costing; lifecycle costing etc..)
Our Course Notes and free lectures cover all the costing that is needed for F5 (and obviously the rest of the syllabus as well).July 6, 2014 at 11:39 am #178241Hi, I mean F5 BPP Chapter 1- Marginal & Absorption Costing.
TQ

It does get asked directly in F5, but the knowledge is relevant for advanced costing techniques such as Acitivity Based Costing. - AuthorPosts
