Based on your lecture ,
For fixed production overhead , we compare between original budget ( 8000 units ) and actual budget ( 8500 units )
But BPP uses actual unit only , (8500 * 15 ) and ( 8500*17 ).
It seem like they are comparing flex budget and actual budget ?

I am away from home until Monday and I do not have the Revision Kit with me and so I cannot check the wording of the question (whether they want the total variance or whether they want it split between the capacity and efficiency variances).
