Hi Mr John Can you explain what cost centre is…I read it but I couldn’t get it because the definition was complicated….Thank you…
All a cost centre is, is basically an area of the business where costs are incurred.
For example, a factory might have two separate departments doing different things. It would be useful to look at the total cost for each department separately and if we do this then we call each of them a cost centre.
