I cant seem to understand the step cost, may I please have clarification
Have you watched the free lectures on cost classification and behaviour?
A stepped fixed cost is a cost that is fixed over a certain range of activity, but then increases to a higher fixed level once the level of activity goes over the limit.
For practical examples of stepped fixed costs you need to watch my free lectures 🙂
