the process of cost apportionment is carried out so that
A)costs may b controlled
B)whole items of cost can b charged to cost centres
C)common cost are shared among cost centres.
why the answer is not B?
Because apportioning means sharing, and charging whole items of cost is not sharing (it is allocating).
