What is a corresponding figure ?

Comparative figure as we know that are all figures in Financial statement of one year earlier than the date of the financial statement. But where can i find the corresponding figures.

I am really struggling. Please help !!!

Corresponding figures are last year’s figures, usually listed beside this year’s.

Comparative financial statements is when the whole FS from the previous period are included with this year’s. A rare occurrence.
