Dear John sir,

I was wondering if “discuss” questions are given to us then we would be writing the pros and cons along with those things, do you think its a good idea to add suggestions/improvements also to our answer?

There is no real need to – if there were going to be marks for suggesting improvements then the question would normally have made that clear.
