Hello sir,
Don’t directors get appointed for 3 year terms, and can serve no more than 3 terms ( 9y),
so why should directors be submitted annually for re-election at AGM’s?
The UK CGC says directors must face reappointment every year (para 18). Not sure where you get your three years from.
The CGC might require more frequent reappointment than permitted by the law or the company’s articles.
