Hello sir,
Lately watched lecture on Corporate Governance.
Is it necessary to memorize the
OECD principles and UK corp Governance code ?
You don’t need to “memorise” or learn by rote details for AA – rather you need to know what principles, concepts etc are – and then be able to recognise or apply them. So for example, it should be “obvious” that it will be a better board that has more than half independent NEDs – and then in an OT-case Q you might have a scenario where you need to be able to identify whether this is met.
