Hi, Could anybody please let me know the answer to the following question? Thanks in advance.
Let us imagine a question where from trial balance we need to draft up statements – I am interested in SFP. If the trial balance does not include accounting for issued convertible loan notes, how should I present it in the statement – is there necessity to devide this hybrid financial instrument into equity and liability part? If so, how do I do it? I know that when calculating EPS, we use actuarial method to calculate number of shares issued at no consideration, but how I present it in SFP?
Thanks in advance for any help on that.
Marius
Just wanted to add…..
If you know an exemplary question from past exams which I could analyze, I would appreciate. Please just give me the name of it.
Thank you.
