I appear to be answering the previous exam questions scenarios with other procedures and controls that are not specified in the answers. Would i still obtain marks for these?

The marking schmes are very flexible and if you mention relevant procedures, controls etc they will attract marks. Be sure to carefully explain your controls and procedures.
