But I think it would be prevented, cause backing up computer files and storing copies seems to prevent any hazard.

3y ago#1That would not prevent, for example, a malicious party from changing or deleting data - or in deed an innocent error.
If the file becomes corrupted then you could correct that by using the back-up copy.
