The second question: Joe’s balance of (debit) $780 had been omitted from the list of balances..(The topic is related to receivable ledger control account)…Does it cause any errors? Thanks.

Undercast means underadded. If it has been underadded then the balance will be wrong.

If a balance has been omitted from the list of balances, then the total of the list of balances will be wrong.
