Hello
I was trying to solve an example of chapter 5 from the study text. It had calculations related to maximax, minimax regret and maximin. I could not understand. Please help me out to understand how to do the calculations.

Are you talking about our notes? If so, Chapter 5 does not deal with maximax etc; Chapter 8 does and the answers are on page 136 of our notes. The Chapter 8 lecture explains the solution in detail
If you are talking about BPP or Kaplan texts I can’t directly help as I do not have copies. However going through our notes and lectures will help.
