firstly thank you fr your sterling work.using your materials I have been able to do 5 papers this year alone so far.i am going for f5 and f8 in dec.my question is i have just come across a question where i need to determine the optimum production schedule where there is 1 scarce resource(one of the materials) .do i use contribution or throughput per unit of sccarce resource in ranking?is there a thumb rule or pointers as to what basis to use?
In the exam, if the question wants throughput then it will specifically ask for it. If it doesn’t ask, then it is normal key factor analysis using the contributions.
