I have noticed that in Kenduri Co (June 2013) the number of contracts in currency option under exercise price 1.62 was not rounded to 24. Would you please tell me that is there any rule not to rounding the contract in any derivative instrument?
The number of contracts has always to be a whole number, and it is rounded in Kenduri.
It was 23.7 and the examiner rounded it to 23. It does not matter in the exam whether you round it up or down – I would have in fact rounded to 24 (not 23) and would still have got full marks.
Thank you 🙂
