An Agreement to carry out an act which the law requires anyway amounts to :
A. Sufficient consideration B. Insufficient consideration C. Past consideration
Answer is B,
My understanding is that the answer is ‘insufficient consideration’ because it is an agreement rather than a contract. I think that a contract to carry out an act which the law requires anyway amounts to ‘Sufficient consideration’ , please can you correct me if my understanding is wrong?
If the law requires the action to be taken, then simply taking that action that is already required by law is not sufficient to merit the title “consideration”
Sorry, but you’re wrong
(A contract is an agreement, supported by consideration, made with intention to create legal relations! Don’t try to separate “agreements” from “contracts”)
