Which of the following types of contract must be in writing
a) A partnership agreement
b) A contract for the sale of goods
c) An agreement for the transfer of land
Is it correct to say that since a contract can be made orally therefore none of the above have to be writing.
Also options a) and c) mention agreement and not contract and therefore I think that there is no requirement for an agreement to be in writing. I mean there may probably be a requirement for contract to be in writing but not for agreement.

A contract for the sale of land needs to be in writing
Yes, contracts CAN be made orally (or even by conduct) but that doesn’t mean that ALL contracts can be made orally
Some need to be made in writing and some others need to be EVIDENCED in writing even though the contract itself may be oral
