Hello,
I do not understand well what the accounting entries are when we account for
A) first a contingent consideration classified as equity (under which item would I find it in equity ?) and
B) then Its subsequent settlementCould you please help ?

LukasFurthermore I found in one ACCA article the following:
“Contingent consideration classified as equity shall not be remeasured, and its subsequent settlement shall be accounted for within equity (eg Cr share capital/share premium Dr retained earnings).”
Why would I debit retained earnings ?
