Hi – thanks for what you do here, your lectures are of great help.
I’ve completed a CR question on linear Programming from the Kaplan exam kit. In the model answer it documents all the various steps to solving it, defining the variables, stating the objective function etc. The data for these was available along with a drawn graph with the equtions on it so my question is whether these written elements are needed to score marks – the question simply said to calculate the optimum production mix, contribution, shadow price and slack?
In Sections A and B of the exam, nobody will look at your workings – only the answer itself is marked. (Study books show the workings to help you understand the answer).
In Section C your workings are marked – the workings are more important than the final answer.
