    Hello,

Can anyone assist with this query. I am currently looking through the syllabus for F7 and note that with BPP material there is no mention of construction contracts (IAS 11) in the syllabus, yet it is provided by yourselves at Open Tuition. Therefore my question is are Construction Contracts examinable for the current F7 exam, up to and inclusive of August 2016?

    Many thanks.

“Can anyone assist with this query” – I presume, given that you’ve posted this on the Ask ACCA Tutor page, that I’m the one addressed as “anyone”

IAS 11 no longer exists – it, and IAS 18 – are replaced by IFRS 15

However, the notes and particularly the calculations of profits, costs and early recognition of losses are all still very applicable

There is, in addition, an updated chapter dedicated entirely to IFRS 15, but the construction contract workings are still good – they’re just no longer IAS11

Does that answer it for you?
