    if the question not given %of parent and subsidiary

    then need to use what formula to calculate the%???

    It is not a question of learning formulae – the exam tests your understanding, not how well you are able to learn formulae.

    The question will always tell you either the %, or alternatively how many shares the parent owns. If you know how many shares in the subsidiary that are owned by the parent and you know (of course) the total number of shares in the subsidiary, then you will obviously be able to calculate the percentage.
