Consolidation

There certainly ARE significant changes within IFRS 10. I honestly don't see the F7 examiner including a ( say ) 40% holding in a company and expecting you to consolidate on the basis of "effective control" but I can see a ( say ) 5 mark part "b" in question 1 asking about the concept of control in arriving at a decision as to whether or not to consolidate as a subsidiary or incorporate the results as an associate
