Sir please me with this
Sir if the question doesn’t state the retained earnings during aquistion? How will I calculate the net asset of the subsidiary and the group retained earnings?I assume you mean the retained earnings at the date of acquisition.
The question will have to tell you what they were (unless the shares were acquired on incorporation, in which case they will be zero.)
