what will be the consideration transferred if A purchases B with a mixture of cash and shares.
Example. A acquired B and the consideration transferred was cash of 30000 and 50000 ordinary 5c with a fair value of 2.50.
What amount of shares has been transferred by A and the fair value of consideration paid.
thank you.
The value of the consideration is 30,000 + (50,000 x 2.50)
I assume that you have found this question in a Revision Kit (in which case you presumably have an answer anyway!), but strictly this should not be examined until Paper FR.
