Dear Tutors,
I’ve encountered a rather strange situation and was wondering whether you could help.
Company A owns a 20% shareholder in Company B, this will be regarded as an associate and thus no company consolidation is required.
However the 80% shareholder of company B, an individual, is also the 100% shareholder of Conpany A, in this situation is company B a subsidiary or associate?
Thanks!
