Hello Sir, If a company buying an intangible asset,and the amt of consideration include a contingent consideration,how should it be accounted for? disclosed in the note?under which IFRS?
IAS 38 /37
Intangible assets are recognised at cost. If the consideration is probable then it would be accrued. If the consideration is possible then it would be disclosed.
