Hi,
I sit ACCA exams in the UK and I am confused over what time the exams start and finish.
I thought the exams started at 10.00am with 15min reading time until 10.15am,
then start writing time at 10.15am until 13.15pm.
However, I phoned ACCA-connect to clarrify this, and I was told that the exams start at 9.45am with 15min reading time until 10.00am,
then writing time is 10.00am to 13.00pm.
Which one of these is correct?
Thanks.
Exam starts at 10.. Writing time at 10:15. 100%. it’s on my docket
Your asked to take a seat at around 9.45 to complete the front page of your exam book with your personnel details

Thanks richieinspain,
I agree with you…my docket also says 10am start, but just says exam lasts 3 hours.
I vaguely recall my last exam finishing at 13.15pm, but called ACCA-connect just to check this….which is why I was shocked when the guy on the phone said No, the reading time starts at 9.45am, the writing starts at 10am, and the exam finshes at 13.00pm….I don’t think he knows what he’s talking about.
I’m gonna go with your answer…reading at 10am, writing at 10.15am…fits in with what I thought too….
…thanks for that.
