dear sire,
Q: how would we test for any ghost employees payments as auditors?
Q:any independent valuer needed as jewellery valuer its fee would be included in audit fee or paid by company differently?
Q: what would be example for the test data that whether controls are operating correctly?
Q1 You could pick some employee records and then ask to meet the employee. Also assess controls over joiners and leavers.
Q2 Valuer is paid separately by client.
Q3 Eg: the control is that all employee hoirs of mpre than 60 hrs per week has to be specially authorised for wage payment. So enrol test data employees (fake) and submit hours of 40, 70, 71 and 90, say. Ensure that those with hours more than 70 are specially reported for authorisation.
