Review the repairs and maintenance expense account to identify any items of a capital nature- under the non current assets, How does this verify the completeness?
It verifies completeness of recording of capital expenditure – if something has been expended (repairs and maintenance is an expense a/c in profit or loss) that should have been capitalised then non-current assets will be understated.
