While reviewing my PER record on ACCA website portal I noticed that a number of details hadn’t been transferred over correctly. The incorrect details concern those of my PER objectives.

The objectives which are missing on my PER record had previously been submitted via paper during the period between 2005 to 2010 whilst working for a previous employer. ACCA’s previous system correctly showed these objectives as being completed.

I have a previous email from ACCA confirming my PER progress which shows the correct completed objectives. I have contacted ACCA and ask them about it.

    ACCA’s response was as follows:
“I regret to advise that in terms of the objectives, the system is currently correct.
What had previously been completed was under the STR recording tool.
As per the following link, the STR was only counted for a short grace period just after the transfer to the new tool. After this, all entries were no longer counted and completion of the new tool was required.”

Has anyone have had the similar experience and where I am standing with regards to have my objectives recognized?

Any advise would be much appreciated.

Using the decision tool to simulate your scenario, it suggests you can use the experiences from your old role but need to put them into the tool again. How you’d get these signed off I’m not sure though as you’ve changed companies.

Realistically though, is knowledge you gained 12 years ago, information you need to be able to complete your PER today? I’m sure you have more recent knowledge that will avoid needing to use your older experiences.
