Hi mike
who can amend the articles of associations of a company, is it the directors or shareholders.
The directors can propose the amendment but the amendment should be approved (by way of vote in general meeting) by the members
Since the shareholders of a public company keep on changing because of the trading, who actually attends the Annual general meeting with the directors?
And in the case British hairways, why couldnt she use it? what did it mean that it is a registered trademark?
The members / shareholders are invited to attend the annual general meeting
The same as “McDonalds” is a registered trademark (and the yellow “M”) and you’re not allowed to use that symbol because it’s registered by McDonalds as being the symbol to be associated with their business, British Airways (and “BA”) is registered as being associated with their operations
