Sir does preference shares dividend paid out in priority to an ordinary dividend? And what does this mean?
And is their dividend is related to profits? I don’t think so?
Preference share get a fixed dividend, and their dividend is paid out first.
Ordinary shares get a dividend out of whatever profit is left after preference dividends (if there is nothing left then they don’t get a dividend).
