Dear Tutor I’m having problem understanding proposed dividend. Can you help me please.
If there was a proposed dividend after the reporting date of year 1 does it become interim dividend for year 2?
It is called the final dividend for year 1. However it is not recorded until it is paid (which is in year 2).
Have you watched my free lectures on this? The lectures are a complete free course for Paper FA and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.
