Hi sir,

What is the correct treatement if

1)In the q it states that “company brand is not capitalised because it was internally generated”

2) “company brand which was purchased is not capitalized”

1 This is the correct treatment for internally generated brands.

2 Why has it not been capitalised? Have they bought something worthless? The correct treatment is to capitalise and subject it to an impairment review.
