Sir can we tell both of the below statements are common law duties owed by an employer
to an employee ?
To excerciae reasonable care and skill
And for example to provide an itemized payslip

Hi John,
Apologies for the delay in replying.
So the duty to exercise reasonable skill and care is a common law duty owed by employees to the employer.
The duty to provide an itemised slip is a duty owed by the employer to the employee.
I hoe this helps clarify.
